Gerald Wayland Robinson, 52, of 1120 Smith Lane died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, at his home. He was born in Pitt County on Feb. 7, 1959, to Geraldine Morris and the late Wayland Winstead Robinson. Gerald worked with Martin Memorial Gardens until his retirement.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Martin Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his daughter, Heather Jo Robinson of Plymouth; mother, Geraldine Morris Rogers and step-father Ruben Rogers of Williamston.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, at Walker Funeral Home and at other times from the residence. Memorial gifts may be made to Williamston EMS, 901 Washington Street, Williamston, NC 27892.
