Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Lowe of Pinetown, N.C., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Sarah Elizabeth Lowe to David Andrew Halsey.

The groom-elect is the son of the Rev. and Mrs. Frank Halsey, Jr., of Jamesville, N.C.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, May 28, 2011, at 5 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church in Washington, N.C.
