Ross and Michell Smith of Washington, North Carolina, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Rachel Smith to Chase Bright.

The groom-elect is the son of Ron and Marsh Bright of Fairfax, Missouri.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, May 21, 2011, at 1 p.m., at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Washington.
