David Earl Clark Jr.

Mr. David Earl Clark Jr., age 51, a resident of 2389 West Barr Road, Chocowinity, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2011, from the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home, Washington, conducted by pastor Henry Horne. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery, Washington.
The following will serve as pallbearers: John Barber, Donald Wiggins, Jack Lewis, Carl Branch, Obe Worthington, and Rayvon Carrow.
Mr. Clark was born in Beaufort County on Dec. 2, 1959. He was the son of David Earl Clark Sr. and Helen Beacham Clark. Mr. Clark was a supervisor with Trader Construction Company of New Bern. He was an avid outdoorsman. Mr. Clark loved to hunt and play golf. He was an outstanding carpenter and a talented cook.
Mr. Clark was very active in his church. He was a member of Union Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Mr. Clark was a Sunday School teacher, Choir member, Trustee, General Board Member and served on Visitation teams.
On July 25, 1996, Mr. Clark married the former Ann Andreoli, who survives.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Andreoli Clark of the home; his parents, David Earl Clark Sr. and Helen Beacham Clark of Chocowinity; two sons, Kevin Clark of Washington, Brantley Carrow of Bear Creek, N.C.; two sisters, Diana C. Barber and husband, John, of Chocowinity, Stella Woodruff and husband, Bill, of Youngsville; a brother, Bobby Clark and wife, Beverly, of Chocowinity; three grandchildren, Hunter Clark, Devan Carrow, Taylor Carrow; two nieces, Ashley Clark, Brianna Woodruff; one nephew, Chris Barber and mother-in-law, Glenis Andreoli.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2011, at Paul Funeral Home, Washington, and at other times at the home.
