An aircraft carrier would be better than the battleship.
To whoever called in and was thankful that they live in such a nice community like Washington: I think you need to quit complaining if they think everyone else is complaining. You are the one complaining about others complaining. I think you should get out and volunteer and get a life.
Praise God for the people planning the prayer breakfast and the children who will attend. Praise God!
Why don’t you tell people calling in about the battleships and aircraft carriers visiting Washington that the water in the Pamlico River is only 10 to 15 feet deep and a large ocean going-vessel can’t come up this far?
We now have a condemned building under a new foundation on U.S. Highway 264. Wow! What progress! Trash on a Popsicle stick.
Why can’t the eyesore building next to Festival Park be demolished and replaced with something useful? It is taking up valuable waterfront property.
