The Cypress Landing Women’s Club sent 456 hand-knit and crocheted baby hats to the Save the Children project. The hats, handmade by club members, are distributed to newborns in Third World countries. Studies have determined that a newborn has a greater chance at survival by wearing a cap for a minimum of 24 hours after birth.
