The city reported that to tear down the current police station, only 36 years old, that it could get $600,000 of my tax-dollar money. I think that it is ridiculous to tear down a building that is perfectly good. The best thing for them to do is to add on to the current building and not build a new $3 million complex. Government officials think they have an endless supply of taxpayers’ money to spend.
