Washington Daily News needs to do two things: Follow up with Pitt County regarding their assessment having seen the audit report. Also follow up on the allegations in the explanatory editorial on Thursday morning. Don’t leave us hanging.
Is being discourteous and sarcastic part of the requirements to work for the state and county? If you smile would you get fired?
Outsource the mayor and city council. This would save at least three jobs for hourly employees.
Ed Booth said that the drug testing for public assistance applicants would hurt the children by cutting off needed money to their parents. I say drug test. If the money is going to drugs the kids are already being hurt.
I am wondering why the county commissioners had to go out of town to hire a lawyer to do their work. Why can’t they hire a lawyer from Washington? We have lots of lawyers.
Has the University of North Carolina won any game they have played this season by more than two points?
