Mr. Ray “May Pop” Hopewell, 64, of 2193 Vanderford Road, Robersonville, died Sunday, March 13, 2011, at Martin County General Hospital. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernie Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Robersonville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. tonight at First FWB Church in Williamston and at other times at 209 N. Broad St., Everetts. Arrangements are by Biggs Funeral Home, Williamston.
