Mrs. Violet Sawyer Liverman, 91, of 1730 North Gum Neck Road, Columbia, died Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Washington County Hospital.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Columbia chapel of Bryan Funeral Service with the Rev. Thomas Patrick officiating. Burial will follow in Azalea Memorial Gardens.

The family received friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, and other times at the home.
