Beaufort County Board of Commissioners Chairman Jerry Langley was ordained as an elder at the St. John Church of Christ in Washington on March 11. Pastor Russell S. Wilkins presided over the service and gave Langley his charge. Several area pastors gave presentations as well. Langley and his wife, Alice, live in Washington.
