Sound Off highlights anonymous, brief takes on the news offered via telephone by Daily News readers.
Not sure what the Sound Off caller was asking with the question: If voting is a right, how do we take it away from those who are incarcerated? We don’t. We do not rescind the right to vote of all those who are incarcerated, only those convicted of felonies. It is part of their punishment for committing a serious violation of our laws. We restore their right to vote immediately upon release from the correction system. It is not, however, against the law not to have a photo ID. Therefore, demanding that citizens produce a photo ID in order to vote abridges their right to vote.

I live in Chocowinity, and I use the Chocowinity dump site. I would like to know when the gate is going to be repaired.
Voting is not a right. It is a privilege.
When you print scripture in your paper, please get it correct. Thursday, March 17: Aid and abide have two entirely different meanings.
