I was at the county commissioners’ meeting on Monday night and this is in reply to the gentleman who said he had poor service at UHS: I and several family members have had excellent care at UHS. We would not have received better service anywhere else.

I’m sure that the Texas A&M girls team and the UConn boys team are glad they had a chance in a playoff system to play for the national championship. They would have never been considered if the NCAA basketball had to use the same computer formula that college football has to use. Give us a college football playoff system, please.

With all the problems at Beaufort County (Medical Center), the county commissioners need to get on their knees and (thank UHS for) taking the hospital off their hands.
