Kimberly Cherry Jackson

Kimberly Cherry Jackson, 49, a resident of Washington, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2011, in Palmerton Hospital in Palmerton, Pa.

Kimberly was born in Arlington, Va., daughter of the late John Cherry and Charlotte Cherry who currently resides in Alexandria, Va. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her two brothers: John Cherry, Jr. of Tampa, Fla., and Richard “Rick”  Cherry and his wife, Sandy of Alexandria, Va.; her son: Mark Locke and wife, Melissa Locke of Palmerton, Pa., her daughter: Aimee Alligood and husband, Christopher Alligood of Washington; her niece: Wendy Jackson and husband, David  Jackson; her grandchildren: Jake Locke, Zachary Alligood, Landin Locke, Alexis Alligood and Braydin Locke and her great nephew: Dylan Jackson and her great nieces: Emma Jackson and Lillian Jackson.

The family expresses their appreciation to the extended family at Pamlico Dialysis.

The family will have a private memorial service.

Kimberly was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
