Danny Louis Lockley

Danny Louis Lockley, 52, of 8030 Sladesville-Credle Road, Scranton, died Monday, April 25, 2011, at Pungo District Hospital, Belhaven.
Born in Truman, Arkansas, June 20, 1958, he was the son of Allen J. Lockley and the late Wanda Lee Wise Lockley. He served for 19 years in the U.S. Navy and during those years saw service in Albania and also was involved in support service in the Gulf War. He was a member of the Swan Quarter Pentecostal Holiness Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his family and enjoyed the beach.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Swan Quarter Pentecostal Holiness Church. Pastor Mike Wheeler will officiate. Burial, with military honors, will follow at Soule Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Clint Berry, David Berry, Joey Scrape, Danny Thomas, Jason Sadler and Josh Marsh. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Brickhouse and Lee Brickhouse.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Linda Lou Brickhouse Lockley; two daughters, Ashley Lockley Sadler and husband, Jason of Southport and Heather Lynnette Nixon of Newport; a brother, David Lockley and wife, Janet A. of Walnut Cove; three sisters, Sue Kelley and husband, John of Lutes, Fla., Lucille Lockley Berry and husband, Lester of Scranton and Madeline Kay L. Ambrose and husband, Michael of Creswell; a grandson, Ethan Edward Sadler.
Danny was also preceded in death by brothers, Vernon Edward Thomas and Edward Wayne Lockley; sisters, Brenda Jean Pigg and Linda Lockley Hope.
