Mrs. Edna Lucille Strickland Brown, 77, died Sunday, May 1, 2011. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Oak City Cemetery, with the Rev. Morgan Daughety officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Oak City Christian Church fellowship hall. Arrangements are by Letchworth Funeral Home, Scotland Neck.
