BCMC ranks No. 10 on list

Beaufort County Medical Center was recently listed in Business North Carolina magazine’s recent issue focusing on North Carolina’s best hospitals for outstanding results in prostatectomies. The hospital was ranked 10th in the March 2011 issue.
Health Grades Inc. compiled rankings for the magazine using Medicare data adjusted for hospitals that receive sicker patients. Health Grades reports on about 5,000 hospitals nationwide in 26 procedures and conditions
Urologists Dr. Michael Crawford and Dr. Michael Lobos with Washington Urological Associates perform all of the prostatectomies at BCMC. They are supported by their office staff and the surgical team at BCMC.
