The Tar Landing Jam to benefit Bertie County victims of recent tornadoes and severe storms that struck eastern North Carolina earlier this year is set for May 21.
The jam, organized by the Beaufort County Traditional Music Association and Tar Landing Co. LLC, will take place from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. at 304 Tar Landing Drive, Bath.
The community jam’s scheduled performers include Olde Fiddle Case, Chambergrass, South Carolina Broadcasters and the Mac & Tammy McRoy Band. While admission is free, donations of $10 a person are recommended. Food, iced tea and desserts will be sold.
