Rambo faces drug charges

At approximately 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report indicating that prescription medication had been stolen from a residence on U.S. Highway 264 East, Washington.
Patrol division deputies interviewed a suspect at a residence in Chocowinity. Deputies searched the residence on Sam’s Road in Chocowinity and located 50 morphine sulfate pills.
Based on information collected during the investigation, Sgt. Kasey Neal arrested Holly Ann Rambo, 31, of Sam’s Road, Chocowinity, and charged her with trafficking in opium and possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule II controlled substance.
Rambo was held in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $5,000 secured bond.
