Ophelia Holland Baker, 86, died Wednesday, June 1, 2011.

A funeral service will be conducted 3 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2011, at Calvary Episcopal Church with the Rev. Theodore H. McConnell officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her husband Noah Baker Jr., son, Malcolm Linwood “Buck” Baker, brothers, Bill Holland, Bobby Holland, Carl Holland, and Clyde Thomas Holland.

She is survived by: children, Sophia Hardy (Jerry) of Tarboro; William “Teeny” Baker (Carolyn) of Washington; Lisa Baker of Abilene, Texas; grandchildren, Tina Chapman, Jeannette Davenport (Bill), Jay Hardy (Sara), Melissa Harris (Timmy), William “Little Teeny” Baker Jr. (Tracie), Joshua Butler (Ashley), Kelsey Butler; great-grandchildren, Tiffany and John Henry Chapman, III, Samantha Grimes (Jay), Brittany, Taylor, and Hunter Davenport, Emily, Tanner, Carson, and Jackson Hardy, Christopher and Kayla Perdue, Colton Baker, Noah Butler, Jayden Butler; great-great-grandchildren, Landon Gaskins, Bentley Gaskins and Shane Perdue.

The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home Saturday, June 4, 2011, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and other times at 1914 Bingham Drive, Tarboro.
