Joseph Dalton Sawyer, 77, of 1439 N.C. Highway 94 North, Columbia, died at his home Thursday, June 2, 2011. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Columbia Christian Church. Burial will follow in Azalea Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Columbia Christian Church, Bridge Street, Columbia, and other times at the home.
