TriCounty Telecom holds meeting

TriCounty Telecom held its annual meeting of members of Tri-County Telephone Membership Corporation on May 1, 2011 at Northside High School.
More than 4 percent of total membership were present, with approximately 150 members and guests in attendance.
The evening began with entertainment by Carolina Still, followed by the business session. C. Wayne Black, Gary Burbage and Clarence Tetterton were re-elected to serve three-year terms as directors.
Door prizes were given out to more than 30 winners, with Albert Bryce May taking home the grand prize of $300.
TriCounty Telecom, located in Belhaven, provides local telephone service in the Pinetown, Pike Road and Sidney exchanges of Beaufort, Hyde and Washington counties.
Cable TV, Internet access, Web hosting and design and long-distance telephone service are also telecommunications services offered by TriCounty Telecom.
