More than 120 Scouts from East Carolina Council, BSA, will take advantage of seven ecology and science-related merit badges being taught at the PotashCorp ECO Lodge at 9 a.m. today, the first activity at the new facility on Camp Boddie overlooking Blount’s Creek. PotashCorp-Aurora, Boy Scout and community leaders will be on hand for the official dedication ceremony at 2 p.m. Although the lodge is located in Camp Boddie, it was designed to be a community outreach to all schools, youth groups, professional groups and individual or family groups.
