Third-grade students in Angie Lewis’ class at John Cotten Tayloe Elementary School had a special visitor teach a science lesson on rocks and minerals June 6. Ronnie Daughtry (left, rear), a former science teacher and retired principal, showed the students a vast collection of different types of precious stones, fossils and a meteorite.
