The bride is the daughter of Warren and Ann Burris of Albemarle, NC.

The groom is the son of Paul and Carol Boyd of Pinetown, NC.

Officiating the double-ring ceremony was Pastor Jonathan Blankenship. Wedding music was presented by Kathleen Blankenship, pianist, and vocalist Jared Blankenship.

The bride was escorted by her father, Warren Burris. Candi Reed of San Diego, CA, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Mott of Albemarle and Kendall Chavez of Charleston, SC.

Jeff Gluck of Charlotte, Patrick Johnson of Greenville, NC and Clyde Gibbs of Durham, NC, served the groom as best men. Darren and Brandon Harris of Pinetown were ushers.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Laurel Baptist Church, hosted by the bridal couple.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Appalachian State University and is employed by the NC Department of Correction.

The groom, a 1994 graduate of East Carolina University, is employed at The Sporting News.

After a wedding trip to San Francisco and Yosemite National Park, the couple is residing in Albemarle.
