Elder James Lewis Whitney, 46, died Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Temple of Jesus Christ in Washington with Preston Spencer as eulogist.

The family will receive friends at 550 Taylor Road, Chocowinity.

Arrangements are by Randolph Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington.
