The Committee of 100’s advertisement in Sunday’s paper disputes the rise in sea-level projections. Satellite photos show the ice cap melting in Greenland. Polar bears are now starving as the seals that they eat are now far from land. Ships are now going from the Atlantic to Pacific via the Northwest Passage, no longer using the Panama Canal. The polar ice cap is melting and the water is going somewhere.

Save money. Accomplish more. Take the Brown Street bridge out. Open the full area so water does not back up in the city.

What do you know about the Plan D that opened up this October? I have a senior relative who never got it when he (or she) should have. Does anyone know anything about it?

What is Mr. Williams going to do, go Republican and vote Democrat?

It is outrageous having Beaufort County being just ranked sixth in pollutants across this big wide state. Come on commissioners, get the sulfur plant open so we can move up to our rightful position.

It would seem that you put the listing of the churches in Saturday’s paper in case someone wanted to choose another church to attend Sunday morning. It seems kind of late notice to choose a church when you are already dressed to go.
