Cobb, Ernul face drug charges

On Wednesday, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office’s Drug Unit arrested Tion Lakeem Ernul, 25, of 336 Respess St., Washington, and Travis Lamon Cobb, 27, of 241 Coy Road, Washington, on drug-related charges.
Their arrests stemmed from the Drug Unit receiving complaints that Ernul and Cobb were selling cocaine from two rooms at the Days Inn in Washington. A search warrant was executed at the Days Inn, and Ernul and Cobb were found to be in possession of quantities of cocaine packaged for resale, drug paraphernalia and packaging material. The Drug Unit was conducting an ongoing drug investigation on Ernul, during which several undercover controlled purchases of cocaine were made.
Ernul was charged with four counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, maintaining a dwelling to facilitate drug activity and four counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Cobb was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, maintaining a dwelling to facilitate drug activity and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Ernul was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond. Cobb was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $75,000 secured bond.
