We need to weigh the cost to wildlife and human life in the discussion of wind energy versus oil energy. We subsidize big oil, dodge oil trucks and use our military might to insure a continued oil supply from halfway around the world. Each Middle East insurrection causes more military interventions, more concern and higher prices at the pump. If not wind, then what? I remind you that there are no perfect answers.
As far as the branding plan for Washington: Why don’t we make everyone happy and call it the Little Original Washington?
Little Washington is a term of endearment. I was born here, my mother was born here and her mother and it has always been Little Washington. Thank you.
Stop and smell the beautiful roses still blooming at Herman Ingalls little park on Main Street. It’s a stunning sight.
Did anyone at the Republican meeting suggest where the money from the proposed jail would come from?
