SANTA’S HELPERS

Thanks to Washington (noon) Rotary and the Washington Police Department, many less-fortunate children received Christmas gifts as a result of their Toys for Tots efforts. The Washington Police Department went all out with its collection efforts. Chief Mick Reid issued a Christmas-spirited competitive challenge to his staff and officers, rewarding whoever collected and contributed the most toys. They overwhelmingly responded by contributing 429 toys. Representing the department and shown with the toys collected are (left to right) telecommunicator Kelley King, telecommunicator supervisor Angela Flowers, Officer Aaron Mobley, Cpl. Ruben Hassell (kneeling) and Sgt. Dusty Biggs. (Submitted Photo)
