I don’t know whose idiotic idea it was to change the name of our little clinic/hospital to Vidant Health. I guess they realized it really isn’t a hospital, so why call something what it isn’t. But how many thousand of dollars were spent to change the name again? It was just changed about a year ago. How often is this going to happen? I think we need to make a better use of the money for the hospital/clinic.

Concerning the city boat ramps: a crane could have lowered a tall, three-sided steel dam with cross members to hold it together, pump out the creek water and pour the boat ramp concrete in place. My father and I did that more than 30 years ago and it worked just fine.

Considering the fact that there is less than 1/1000th of 1 percent of voter fraud in the country, intelligent people know better than to spend millions of taxpayer dollars on nonexistent problems. Voter ID is solely to disenfranchise specific groups of people.

I use a lot of your recipes. It would be very nice if people would include the size dish you cook it in and whether you spray the dish or not.
