Sound Off highlights anonymous, brief takes on the news offered via telephone by Daily News readers.

Concerning prayer and naming your god: instead of everybody being so concerned about an individual naming his god during prayer time in a public meeting while there’s somebody praying, everybody should be praying to their god.

I knew that not building the bridge across the Pamlico River to the east side of Washington was going to come back to bite us. And now it’s going to cost people working at PotashCorp Aurora $480 a week to ride to work. I think everybody in this county needs to demand that the state put a bridge across the Pamlico River where that ferry runs right now. This is undue taxation on the people that work at PotashCorp Aurora.

Why in the world would Vidant Health close Inner Banks Urgent Care? This is where I go for my care. This is about as stupid a mistake as building a bridge on the west side of Washington. No sense at all. Both of them are going to come back to bite us.
