On Feb. 24, second- and third-grade students at John Cotten Tayloe Elementary School were excited and amazed by the talents of Steve Somers, better known as The Amazing Teacher. Somers is the founder of Amazing Productions, a company that produces educational presentations that are designed to motivate and inspire young and old alike. The presentation, titled “Saddle Up ’N Read,” included costuming, puppets, magic tricks, music and audience participation.
