Raymond Boston

Mr. Raymond Boston, 66, a resident of 313-A W. Water St., Plymouth, died Wednesday at his home.

A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Uniontown Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) with Bishop Daniel Boston officiating. Burial will follow in Uniontown cemetery.

Mr. Boston was born Feb. 28, 1946, in Washington County. He was the son of the late James Boston and Virgie Biggs Boston. He was a member of Long Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. He was self-employed as a painter.

Survivors include a son, Thomas Raymond Curlee of Winston-Salem; four daughters, Regina Belcher of Grimesland, Karen Belcher of Raleigh, Sandra Boyd of Elizabeth City and Cassandra Belcher of Winston-Salem; four brothers, Milton Boston of Washington, D.C., William Boston of Chicago, Larry Boston of Plymouth and Ricky Boston of Norfolk; three sisters, Dorothy Laws of Norfolk, Ola Faye Johnson and Gloria Moore, both of Plymouth, and eight grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday at Uniontown Church of Christ and other times at the home of his sister, Gloria Moore, 495 Reno Road, Plymouth.

Arrangements are by Toodle’s Funeral Home, Plymouth.
