Ace Hardware Corp. has named Washington-based Flanders Corp. an Ace Hardware Vendor of the Year. The nation’s largest hardware cooperative announced the award during a special ceremony at its spring convention held March 8-10 in Atlanta.

Ace recognized representatives from Flanders, a leading manufacturer of air-filtration solutions, for their superior commitment and service to Ace, its retailers and its customers. Flanders was one of only seven vendors chosen for the top honor out of the thousands of companies that supply products to the more than 4,600 locally owned and operated Ace stores.

“For the past 20 years, Flanders has strived to bring value to Ace through new and innovative air filtration products and world class service,” said Harry Smith, CEO for Flanders Corp. “During that time, Ace has worked with us to maintain a healthy and mutually beneficial relationship. We look forward to the next 20 years as we continue to grow our businesses together.”

“From a product, supply chain and promotions perspective, Flanders has continuously gone above and beyond for Ace retailers,” said Ken Goodgame, general merchandise manager for Ace Hardware. “Through their commitment to excellence, Flanders has made it possible for Ace to fulfill its promise of helping customers take care of their homes quickly and easily.”
