Herman Edwin Everett Sr., 84, a resident of Roper, died Thursday, March 22, 2012, at Roanoke Landing Health & Rehabilitation Center in Plymouth. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Saints Delight Church of Christ, Roper, with Lloyd Davis and Thomas Biggs officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth, and other times at the residence of his daughter, Renee Spruill. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
