Beaufort County Community College announces the following registration schedule for the 2012 Summer Term:

Registration is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 2 and 3 for returning students. Registration for new students is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning April 3.

Late registration is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 15.

The first day of class is May 16. Summer term ends July 16.

Registration allows the students and the advisors to evaluate progress and plan courses to be taken during the following semester.

New students must apply for admission before registering for classes. Those with questions about the admissions process should contact the admissions office in Building 9 on the BCCC campus, visit the BCCC website at www.beaufortccc.edu or call 940-6237. It is also recommended that new students bring copies of placement test scores and/or college transcripts to registration.

Returning students are asked to advise the registrar’s office in Building 9 of any changes — such as name, address, or program of study — since completing their initial admissions application.

Tuition will be billed and mailed to students April 6. Tuition must be paid by 5 p.m. May 6. Students who do not pay by this date will have their classes canceled. The cashier’s office accepts cash, check, Visa and MasterCard.
