Jack Johnson, 75, died Monday, March 27, 2012.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Edgecombe Memorial Park with Dr. Ed Conner officiating.

Jack was owner and operator of Johnson Welding Supply Co. and lifetime member of Rocky Mount Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his loving family including his wife, Gwen A. Johnson; daughters, Elizabeth Ann Johnson Mayo of Chocowinity, Pamela Denise Johnson Everett of Pinetops, and Danielle Johnson Taylor and husband, Mike, of Sharpesburg; sister, Mary Alice Mills and husband, Pete, of Tarboro; foster sister, Patricia Baker and husband, Joe, of Scotland Neck; brother, James “Duke” Dew of Tarboro; grandchildren, John Mayo, Danielle Freuler, Caroline Brooks and Nathan Taylor; great-grandchildren, Colton John Mayo and Tanner Brooks; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday at Carlisle Funeral Home.

Arrangements are by Carlisle Funeral Home, Tarboro.
