Samuel Edgar Chesson Sr., 77, a resident of Roper, died Monday, March 26, 2012, at his home. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth, with Billy Leggett officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
