Mrs. Bertha Johnson Spruill, 86, a resident of 207 W. Fourth St., Plymouth, died Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Roanoke Landing Nursing Center, Plymouth. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Plymouth, with the Rev. Harry Lee White Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Spruill’s Eternal Rest Home Cemetery, Plymouth. Visitation will be from 7:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. today at New Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Puckett-Purkett Funeral Service, Roper.
