Amber Bowen’s second-grade class at John Cotten Tayloe Elementary School has been researching birds.

The students learned many facts about birds and had fun sharing their knowledge in artistic and creative ways. One group of students created a poster of facts and opinions about swans. The other two groups worked together to create a poster of A-Z facts about birds. They discovered the names of birds that begin with all the letters except for the letter X. The students thought it was fun to work in groups while learning more about birds.
