To all of those who volunteered for cycle North Carolina: congratulations. I helped at a rest stop and heard first-hand all the compliments given to our volunteers and to the friendly citizens of Washington. And thank you, cyclists, for choosing Washington as your destination.

My question is where are all the negative Sound Offs about the cyclists? I know there were some called in. I called one in. I have friends that called some in. Yet, you are slanting the discussion toward the positive. That’s hardly fair and balanced. You’ve got to represent both sides of the issue. Not everyone enjoyed the cyclists being in town. So, search your soul as a newspaper and print both sides of it. Be fair and balanced.
