Margie Belle Paxton Cohoon, 84, of Columbia, died Sunday, April 29, 2012,  at Vidant Chowan Hospital in Edenton. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Gum Neck Free Will Baptist Church, Columbia, with Gerald Perry officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and other times at the residence. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell.
