Approximately 250 cancer survivors took part in the opening Survivors Lap at Washington High School during the weekend as part of the annual Beaufort County Relay for Life. The fundraiser for the American Cancer Society raised $115,600. By collecting more than $16,000, Bosom Buddies took home the first-place trophy and the spirit award. Christ Crusaders ($9,578.57) finished in second place. while Old Ford Church of Christ ($7,339.64) came in third. Friends for Life was recognized with the Best Campsite Award. (Submitted Photo)
