Evelyn Matilda Pledger Aidoock, 85, of 1096 Riverneck Road, Columbia, died Monday, April 30, 2012, at Vidant Chowan Hospital in Edenton. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. The Rev. James Koo and Lee Humphlett will officiate. Burial will follow at the family plot in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at Bryan Funeral Service in Columbia.
