Over 100 Washington Rotary Club members and their guests jointly welcomed Rotary’s German Group Study Exchange contingency and treated it to an authentic eastern North Carolina pig pickin’ at the home of Mitch St. Clair. Brownie Futrell cooked the pig while Rotary members dished out their favorite desserts. Rotarian families also provided overnight accommodations for the visitors who toured area industry and businesses during their four-day visit to Washington on the Pamlico River.
