Oswald Birt Sr., 90, a resident of 2614 Mauls Point Road, Blounts Creek, died Friday, May 11, 2012. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ware Creek Missionary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at the chapel and other times at the home of Mrs. Preddy M. Stilley, 18657 N.C. Highway 33 East, Edward.
