I see in the paper where Bobby Roberson says that the city is providing free services for county residents, and I’d like to know what part of the county and what free services the city is providing. The only service I get from the city is my lights, and I will pay for that.

I would just like to compliment Gene Lyons on his column “You cannot reason with crazy.” How true. In his reference to the Bush policies, let’s all remember the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and hoping for a different result.

I would just like to ask everybody who has a little bit of free time to come and volunteer at your local animal shelter and walk a dog. … They would just love to go and take a little walk with you. … Maybe a senior-citizens center would like to make a day of it every week or whenever you can.
