Gordon Slade Peele, 72, of Smithwick Creek Church Road, Williamston, died Friday, May 18, 2012, at his home. A funeral will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Macedonia Christian Church with Greg Sexton and Dolan Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at Macedonia Christian Church prior to the service on Sunday. Walker Funeral Home of Williamston is serving the Peele family.
