Hassell & Singleton, L.L.P. and Mason & Jones, P.A. merged in January to form the new firm of Hassell, Singleton, Mason & Jones, P.A. The firm’s partners are Sidney J. Hassell Jr., H. Ranee Singleton, Keith B. Mason and Brian K. Jones.

Hassell, Singleton, Mason & Jones, P.A. provides legal services in a number of areas, including family law, real-estate matters, criminal defense and traffic matters, wills and estates, personal injury, municipal law and general civil litigation.

According to Singleton, the firm enjoys a wide range of legal experience and handles many different types of cases for individuals, businesses, municipalities and other governmental bodies.

“Keith handles residential and commercial real-estate closings. Sid has developed a trial practice over a long period of time handling domestic cases and most any dispute requiring litigation. Brian devotes much of his practice to criminal defense and traffic matters. So, we have a good courtroom presence in the District and Superior courts. Bringing our talents and resources together is exciting. It’s a really good fit for all of us. We are from this area, and we are familiar with its people and the importance of this part of North Carolina,” said Singleton, who handles personal-injury cases and represents businesses, big and small, facing an array of legal issues.
